Learn how to generate drafts and use call compass features

Getting Started
After authenticating with eplex, you can start generating email drafts in two ways
Scenario 1: Generate Draft from Open Conversation
When you have a Gmail conversation or draft open, you can generate contextual drafts

Open a Gmail Conversation

Navigate to any email thread in your Gmail inbox

Open Eplex Panel

Click the Eplex addon icon in the Gmail sidebar. Eplex will automatically detect and read your draft/email content as context.

Eplex automatically reads your draft content - no manual input needed!

Complete the Draft form

Select your Style (nationality), Stage, and toggle "Keep it brief" if needed

Click Generate

The draft will automatically appear in Gmail compose window

Scenario 2: Generate Draft from Gmail Home
When you're on Gmail home or have no conversation open

Open Eplex Panel

Click the Eplex addon icon in the Gmail sidebar. Eplex will open a new panel which will add a new input that will work as the context request.

Use enquiry Form

Insert your enquiry details in eplex enquiry form

The Enquiry field only appears when no draft is open

Complete Form Fields

Fill out all required information including Style, Stage and 'Keep it brief' toggle

Generate Draft

Follow the same generation process. A new compose window will open with your generated draft

Form Fields Explained
Understanding the four main form elements for draft generation

1. Enquiry

Type your enquiry details when starting from Gmail inbox without an open conversation. Describe what the email should address.

Only visible in scenario 2 (Gmail home)

2. Style

Select the Nationality of the person you want to generate (inquiry, follow-up, proposal, etc.)

  • Global (International) - Default
  • Thai
  • Chinese
  • Japanese
  • Korean

3. Stage

A CRM stage, to identify where the person is in their journey

  • 1. New Lead
  • 2. Qualified Lead
  • 3. School Tour
  • 4. Application
  • 5. Offer
  • 6. Enrolment
  • 0. Lead Lost (If the lead with the prospect is lost)

4. Keep it brief

When toggled, this keeps the draft to be no more than 100 words.

Automatic School Information Integration

If your school domain has a saved JSON configuration file in our hands, Eplex automatically pulls and integrates that information into the draft generation. This ensures more complete and accurate drafts with specific school details (programs, deadlines, contact info, etc.) - no manual input required!

Call Compass Card

Once clicked, the Call Compass will render a new card within the Eplex containing call preparation tips, talking points, and conversation guidance based on your generated draft.

  • Style guide for addressing parents
  • Maintain a respectful and polite tone throughout the conversation
  • Key talking points organized by call stages (Orient, Connect, Discover)
  • Conversation guidance and next steps
